Welcome to Days of our Lives Daily Y.A.P.P. (Your After-Program Ponderings) for a quick — and by that, I mean you’re already halfway done — recap of the most amazing or what-the-heck-did-we-just-watch moments on today’s episode. Let’s get to it:

Xander's life keeps spinning out of control, but the one thing that he can control is the truth when it comes to his wife and family. While there is no excuse for what Xander did to Philip, Sarah was willing to let him get away with it weeks ago if he had just apologized for his actions. Since Xander can't admit that he was the one who attacked Philip, he wasn't about to give Sarah an apology because that would imply he was guilty. Now, Sarah finally believes all the lies and feels all this guilt herself, which is just going to cause Xander more guilt while he is trying to save his father's company. Xander can argue that the corporate issues all go back to Sarah's lies about the forged letter, but how do you solve a mess that both you and your wife made? You just go to honesty. Everyone screws up and some more than others, but the best way to get a fresh start is to get it all out there, show remorse, and never do it again. Instead, Sarah and Xander are about to get entangled in a whole new web of lies, so this story ends up dragging on to the one-year point. All Sarah and Xander do is go around in circles and it's frankly getting old.
