Days of our Lives Daily YAPP Recap, September 22: Holly decks Tate — good for her

Welcome to Days of our Lives Daily Y.A.P.P. (Your After-Program Ponderings) for a quick — and by that, I mean you’re already halfway done — recap of the most amazing or what-the-heck-did-we-just-watch moments on today’s episode. Let’s get to it:

What happened on Days of our Lives

While Sophia is certainly selfish, immature, and manipulative, Tate never should have played with her feelings to get information out of her — while still dating Holly. Yes, he and Holly had a fight over Sophia and the connection Tate will always feel toward her, but Brady was right when he told Tate that Sophia's secrecy wasn't worth losing Holly. Who can blame Holly for being furious to learn that Tate invited Sophia to his dorm room after just one fight? Last fall, one fight sent Tate right into Sophia's arms, and that's how they ended up in this situation. Now, Tate has a child out there, he has no idea where this child is, and his obsession is driving Holly away. Holly has been more than understanding as she stood by her man while someone else was pregnant with his child. That is no easy task, especially for a teenager. We have to hand it to Holly for punching Tate clear across the face in public for his dumb moves. It's like she was challenging her mother, Nicole, who has been known to do the exact same thing when the situation calls for it. If Nicole were in town, she'd back Holly up. Too bad Sophia has other plans for Holly that she might not expect. Talk about not knowing the people you were once friends with.
