Welcome to Days of our Lives Daily Y.A.P.P. (Your After-Program Ponderings) for a quick — and by that, I mean you’re already halfway done — recap of the most amazing or what-the-heck-did-we-just-watch moments on today’s episode. Let’s get to it:
What happened on Days of our Lives

The Salem freshmen have moved into their dorm, and it looks like Ari and Holly are more excited than we are. In fact, they are so excited that we could only cringe at their excitement. Why were they squealing and giggling when they just saw one another the day before? When Ari arrived at the dorm and saw Holly for the first time, we felt like we had to cover our ears. That's how loud they were. They also acted like home was more than 10 minutes away. We know we are going to get a lot of dorm living over the next year, as college life has come to Salem, but we're not sure this is the exciting soap story that we are looking for. We'd also like to know when Gabi went to college. We never saw her in college. In fact, we saw her as someone who got pregnant in her late teens and never finished school. But now, apparently, Gabi's interest in fashion began when she was at Salem University. Then, there is the Sophia part of the story. Ari and Gabi were not sure if Sophia's mom would let her stay in the dorms, and Ari hoped Amy might change her mind. So, Sophia can just get a room at any point in the semester? The dorms aren't full? And why is college starting after Labor Day anyway, when in the real world most kids started back at classes weeks ago? We can tell these Days of our Lives college days will leave us with lots of questions.
