Days of our Lives Daily YAPP Recap, September 4: Brady should question Kristen's story

Welcome to Days of our Lives Daily Y.A.P.P. (Your After-Program Ponderings) for a quick — and by that, I mean you’re already halfway done — recap of the most amazing or what-the-heck-did-we-just-watch moments on today’s episode. Let’s get to it:

What happened on Days of our Lives

It was painful to watch Brady lay into Kristen the way he did at that sentencing hearing, knowing she didn't do anything wrong (this time). Marlena is already tormented by the idea of Kristen being punished for something she didn't do, but she now knows that Kristen is willing to put Rachel above all else. That is something Brady should know. Despite their differences, Brady has always known that Kristen is devoted to their daughter and never would have allowed her to take the stand at Johnny's trial if she could have stopped it. Brady should also be aware that Kristen wouldn't sacrifice herself for Johnny, so her confession right before the jury read the verdict should make no sense to Brady. Not only would Kristen never allow Rachel to be tortured, but she also wouldn't want to be away from her for years if she didn't have to. Instead, Brady blindly believed every lie Kristen had told over the last two weeks and asked the judge to give Kristen the maximum sentence. The judge didn't even want to do that, so she compromised in the middle because even she could see there might be something off here. We get that Brady is under a lot of stress because of Tate's baby and Sophia's tall tales, but he really should think for a moment and realize there is something more going on here than meets the eye.
