Xander Cook recently got the scare of his life on Days of our Lives when Sarah went into anaphylactic shock while eating a scone in Horton Town Square. After Javi saved Sarah's life, Xander went on a tear looking for someone to blame.
Days of our Lives' Xander can't control his anger

Xander's (Paul Telfer) knee-jerk reaction upon learning that Sarah (Linsey Godfrey) was given the wrong scone was to place the blame on the person running the counter at Sweet Bits that morning. He took one look at young Felicity Greene and knew she had to be responsible for Sarah's medical incident, and came down hard on the teen.
In the end, it turned out that a stressed and distracted Chanel (Raven Bowens) gave Sarah the vegan scone made with pistachio milk. Since Sarah is allergic to pistachio nuts, she carries an EpiPen with her, which came in handy when she suddenly couldn't breathe.
While Xander apologized to Felicity, AnnaLynne McCord admitted how everyone on set was conscious of Kennedy Garcia's feelings on set. These were some of the first emotionally-heavy scenes that the young actress with Down Syndrome had to film.
Kennedy Garcia takes it all in stride

McCord told Soap Opera Digest that she felt protective of Garcia during those scenes, just as her character, Cat, felt protective of her sister Felicity.
"There was a major protectiveness, even in my natural body," McCord said. "And also from Paul and Linsey, who play Xander and Sarah. They actually did a personal little bit of a redirect on the scene itself the night before. We all kind of talked about it because they were like, 'This doesn’t have to be full escalation for it to be felt.'"
McCord described what happened with Telfer and Garcia after the scenes were filmed.
"Paul came up to her and was like, ‘I’m really sorry that I had to scream at you like that,' And Kennedy, you could tell that she still was a little [affected by] it. So Paul said, ‘Do you want to give me a little sock?'" McCord explained. "And she just whacked him with her fist. She socked him right in the stomach...He laughed. Then she laughed. We all laughed."
It sounds like all's well that ends well for Sarah, Xander, and Felicity both on-screen and off.
