Happy 60th birthday to Days of our Lives, the little soap that could, as it keeps plugging along on the Peacock streaming network. This week, as Salem celebrates Dr. Tom Horton at a hospital gala, some of your favorite Salemites from years past will return to the place they call home.
Familiar faces on Days of our Lives

It'll feel like old home week in Salem when a bevy of former Days of our Lives stars descend on the sleepy little Midwest town for a big gala celebrating the opening of EJ DiMera's free clinic. Here is a list of who you will see:
Christopher Sean (Paul Narita, 2 episodes)
Colton Little (Andrew Donovan, 2 episodes)
Roark Critchlow (Mike Horton, 2 episodes)
Maree Cheatham (Marie Horton, 2 episodes)
Melissa Reeves (Jennifer Deveraux)
Matt Ashford (Jack Deveraux)
Bryan Dattilo (Lucas Horton, 3 episodes)
Lamon Archey (Eli Grant)
Sal Stowers (Lani Grant)
Stephen Schnetzer (Steven Olson, 1 episode)
Chandler Massey (Will Horton, 2 episodes)
Ali Sweeney (Sami Brady, 2 episodes)
Greg Vaughan (Eric Brady, 3 episodes)
What you can expect at the big gala

As fans know, EJ (Daniel Feuerriegel) is using this free clinic as a cover for a secret lab to further develop Versavix, the fictional miracle drug that brought Bo Brady (Peter Reckell) back to life earlier this year. The gala will keep the attention on the clinic and keep people away from what he is really doing there.
Before the gala, Sami Brady arrives back in Salem to meet her newest grandchild, Trey DiMera. She surprises her son Will when she shows him an engagement ring. Who is Sami engaged to now?
Lani is also back to smooth things over with her father and brother. She asks Abe (James Reynolds) if there may be a reason Theo (Tyler Joseph Andrews) has chosen to confide in Paulina (Jackee Harry) and not him. Perhaps Abe needs to do some self-reflection.
Julie (Susan Seaforth Hayes) will reunite with her brother, Steven Olson, once again. He visited Salem for the first time in decades in December after Doug Williams' death.
Once the gala begins, Jennifer will give a speech honoring her grandfather, with both of her brothers and a bevy of other beloved characters in the audience.
