Welcome to the Days of our Lives Daily Y.A.P.P. (Your After-Program Ponderings) for a quick — and by that, I mean you’re already halfway done — recap of the most amazing or what-the-heck-did-we-just-watch moments on today’s episode. Let’s get to it:

What happened on Days of our Lives

In a little under two months, Days of our Lives' Victoria Kiriakis will be celebrating her second birthday. Just two weeks ago, she even looked like an actual toddler, sitting up in her stroller and eating finger food at The Brady Pub. Sarah and Maggie even discussed how she wandered into the bathroom and made a mess with toothpaste. That means this almost two-year-old can walk, as most two-year-olds do. But everything changed on July 14th. While we didn't see Victoria, we were to believe she was lying down sleeping in a very tiny playpen bassinet with the cries of an infant. Most two-year-olds are saying small words by now or even talking in sentences. However, Sarah and Xander's two-year-old was cooing like a four-month-old when her mother checked on her in the bassinet. Since Victoria is walking, one would think that she could just climb right out of her sleeping quarters when she wakes, especially since many two-year-olds sleep in toddler beds for safety reasons because they can climb out of their cribs. We get that DAYS doesn't always have a baby on set when a baby is in the room, but perhaps a full-size playpen and Victoria not waking with infant cries would have been a little more realistic than toddler Victoria's de-SORASing. In fact, it might be time to SORAS Victoria into a full-fledged kid at this point to add drama to this custody fight.
