What to expect on Days of our Lives
It's the day that Johnny (Carson Boatman) and Chanel (Raven Bowens) have been waiting for. They are finally going to become parents to the baby they knew from the start was meant for them. However, Johnny and Chanel's joy brings sadness to another family.
At the Hernandez house, the family prepares to say goodbye to the little boy they have been fostering since the summer. Tesoro has become a part of their little clan, with Javi (Al Calderon) and Leo (Greg Rikaart) being the most attached to the baby. The family members comfort one another as they get Tesoro's things ready for his trip to his new home.
There is also some tension in Horton Town Square when EJ (Daniel Feuerriegel) happens by after vowing to stay out of Johnny and Chanel's lives, as well as the baby's.
Marlena (Deidre Hall) and Paulina (Jackee Harry) prepare a celebration for the homecoming, with everyone oooing and ahhhing over how adorable the little one is when Johnny and Chanel arrive. Marlena and Belle (Martha Madison) are touched when they hear the baby's new name. It's a happy day indeed for one family and a sad day for another.

Javi, Leo, and the rest of the family are heartbroken to see the baby they have been fostering go, but they knew it would happen one day.
Little Tesoro is about to get a new name and new parents and seems perfectly happy with the idea.
Rafe has to allow another child he has fostered go to another home. Javi and Leo look on and don't want to give Tesoro up.
There's a tense moment with EJ in the Square. EJ has no idea that Rafe is investigating him.
Chanel thanks Javi and Leo for taking such good care of the baby and promises them that they will always be a part of his life.
Grandmothers Marlena and Paulina get the apartment ready for Johnny, Chanel, and their son.
