What to expect on Days of our Lives
After hearing Rachel (Alice Halsey) confess that she tried to hurt Sarah (Linsey Godfrey) by giving her pistachio ice cream and she tried to kill EJ (Daniel Feuerriegel) by shooting him, Brady (Eric Martsolf) knows what he has to do, but it breaks his heart to do it. He chooses to leave his daughter at Bayview, where he prays she will get the help she needs.
Brady has a hard time getting through to Rachel that this is where she belongs, as she screams for her daddy not to leave her. Brady gives Rachel a hug goodbye and leaves before he breaks down. He can hear Rachel screaming and crying on the other side of the door as she bursts into tears.
Brady still can't believe that Marlena (Deidre Hall) knew that Rachel was the one who shot EJ for months but never said anything. Maybe Brady can cut his mother some slack since she has been dealing with a lot, including a missed diagnosis. It looks like Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) gets confirmation that Marlena does indeed have Lyme disease.
EJ in the hot seat
All eyes are on EJ now that Marlena, Kayla, and Belle (Martha Madison) realize that Marlena had been suffering because of EJ's hospital budget cuts. Without a full lab staff, Marlena's Lyme disease was missed, so now EJ is in the hot seat trying to deflect the blame.
At least he thinks he has an ally in Cat (AnnaLynne McCord), who asks EJ for help. Little does EJ know that Cat is really trying to dig up dirt on him as part of her ISA assignment and puts on a happy face as his trusted assistant to do it.

EJ also has no idea that he knew Cat before, when he was practically comatose at an Italian clinic. But he is about to find out, or at least start suspecting that there is more going on than meets the eye when it comes to Cat Greene. Maybe he should compare notes with Chad (Billy Flynn) — if he can find him.
