Days of our Lives Spoilers, June 13: Philip's life is on the line again

After a week of bittersweet moments, DAYS returns to me intrigue and drama at the hospital as life goes on. Kate (Lauren Koslow) has been right by Philip's (John-Paul Lavoisier) side for weeks as he has lingered in a coma and returned to his side as soon as John's (the late Drake Hogestyn) funeral was over.

While she prays for his recovery, Xander (Paul Telfer) and Sarah (Linsey Godfrey) argue about Victoria at the nurses' station. After buying a new outfit for her at Saxton's, Xander wants to see his daughter, but Sarah won't allow it.

Is this argument what prompts Xander to then enter Philip's room and look as if he is about to smother his brother with a pillow? When Kate and Sarah walk back into the room and find Xander, he seems to quickly cover for himself, but will he return to finish the job later?

Kate is sure that Xander is responsible for Philip being in that hospital bed, but he denies everything and managed to get released on bail. Kate won't take too kindly to seeing Xander in her son's room and might decide to take matters into her own hands.

A Johnson family reunion

With Jack (Matthew Ashford) and Jennifer (Melissa Reeves) back in town, Steve (Stephen Nichols) and Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) decide to have dinner with them at The Bistro. They even invite Alex (Robert Scott Wilson) and Stephanie (Abigail Klein) to join them. The younger couple enjoys some pre-dinner romance before the evening begins. Alex still wants to publish Stephanie's novel, so they appear to recreate a scene right on his office desk.

When the Johnsons clan reunites for this special family dinner, will we see even more flashbacks as Steve, Kayla, Jack, and Jennifer tell Alex and Stephanie all about their histories and past adventures?

It's been a week of memories that have brought fans to tears, but it is also a joy to see our old favorites celebrate life and family together. Will the older couples inspire Alex and Stephanie to make their own new memories now? Perhaps a wedding might be in order soon...
