Days of our Lives Spoilers, June 5: Jack and Jennifer return to Salem

Here are your Days of our Lives spoilers for Thursday, June 5, 2025.

What to expect on Days of our Lives

The week of returns and reunions continues as Jack (Matthew Ashford) and Jennifer (Melissa Reeves) make their way back to Salem. The last time they were in town, there was another tragedy. Jack found Doug (the late Bill Hayes) had passed away in his sleep when he went upstairs to tell him Thanksgiving dinner was ready.

Now, they are in town after learning that John Black (the late Drake Hogestyn) has died. Jack makes his way to The Spectator office, his old stomping grounds, where he offers some journalistic advice to Leo (Greg Rikaart). Doug III (Peyton Meyer) is also around and turns to Leo for advice, so everyone is giving advice in the newspaper office.

Meanwhile, Cat (AnnaLynne McCord) and Chad (Billy Flynn) finally get ready for their first date, something that seems to disturb Jennifer. The last time she was in Salem, she laid into Cat for impersonating Abigail. How will she feel to know that Chad has struck up a friendship with this woman who pretended to be her dead daughter? Chad may have a whole lot of explaining to do.

Rafe returns, Gabi and Ari clash

Rafe (Galen Gering) is back from his training with the FBI and is thrilled to find his niece Arianna (Marissa Reyes) is home. They share a tender reunion, but things are not all good in the Hernandez house. Will Rafe have to play referee when Gabi (Cherie Jimenez) and Arianna have an argument?

Gabi is a little surprised by her daughter's attitude and is starting to realize that Ari might not be as sweet and innocent as she originally believed. She was in and out of jail while Ari was growing up with her two dads, so Gabi does not really know her daughter well at all.

How would Gabi feel if she learned that Ari snuck out of the house on her 18th birthday to pick up some random guy in a bar? Doug III doesn't even know that Arianna is just a recent high school graduate. Of course, that doesn't keep him from having eyes for Holly (Ashley Puzemis).
