Johnny (Carson Boatman) is relieved that Chanel (Raven Bowens) wants him to finally come home after he broke her heart once again. However, she has one very important question first — did Johnny shoot his father? Johnny is not quite sure what to say when Chanel puts him on the spot like that. He hasn't even realized he was a suspect in EJ's (Daniel Feuerriegel) shooting, despite EJ believing he just confessed to the crime. Paulina (Jackee Harry) also wants to talk with Johnny and has the same suspicions as Chanel.

Roman (Josh Taylor) and Kate (Lauren Koslow) finally come clean with one another about the night EJ was shot and admit they both think Johnny did the deed. In fact, both of them had guns that night, but they didn't pull the trigger. Instead, they saw Johnny with a gun and are not trying to protect their grandson.

However, one has to wonder if Roman and Kate are even telling each other the truth. Something tells us Johnny will soon be arrested for shooting EJ, but he is not the culprit.

Steve (Stephen Nichols) and Shawn (Brandon Beemer) are still determined to get their hands on that drug that can save Bo and move ahead with their plans to steal it. Too bad they are not aware that Philip has his own plans, but they are very greedy plans.

The DiMera and Kiriakis men know the hospital is sitting on a hot commodity thanks to Dr. Jeffrey Russell's (Michael Dietz) research. After a chat with Brady at The Brady Pub, Philip (John-Paul Lavoisier) decides he has to have that serum and takes matters into his own hands when he hires someone to steal it.

Does Philip even realize this is the drug that can save his big brother, Bo (Peter Reckell)? Philip loves his brother, but he might be about to make a major mistake that could cost Bo his life.
