What to expect on Days of our Lives

Thanks to EJ's (Daniel Feuerriegel) big sister Megan, Bo (Peter Reckell) was cryogenically frozen for nearly a decade, before lingering in a coma for nearly two years. Now, he has sepsis, and the only thing that can save him is a special experimental medication developed by Dr. Jeffrey Russell (Michael Dietz).
The problem is, Dr. Russell refuses to hand over the serum because he has a new deal with EJ, who wants to take over the hospital. Is EJ ready to speed up Dr. Russell's testing, enabling Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) to get the drug to Bo, or will he slow things down, causing Bo's days to be numbered?
Neither man realizes that Shawn (Brandon Beemer) and Steve (Stephen Nichols) are about to take matters into their own hands and bypass Dr. Russell altogether. With Kayla's help, they have their plan to steal the serum in place, but Kayla might not even be in charge of the hospital soon if EJ gets his way.
EJ's other problem

EJ also thinks his personal life is on the right track. Belle (Martha Madison) admits she is in love with him, and all is right with the world, right? Wrong!
Belle still can't seem to stay away from Shawn. When they run into one another at The Brady Pub, Belle and Shawn spend some time catching up. Now that Bo has taken a turn for the worse, she offers him comfort and support. Will Shawn mention that he and Steve have a super secret plan to save his father?
Shawn might also try to pry into Belle's love life, considering that she is involved with a man who was just shot, and Shawn is leading the investigation into the shooting. EJ might want to try to keep Belle and Shawn apart for a variety of reasons. With EJ convinced that Johnny (Carson Boatman) shot him, he might not want Shawn learning too much. It wouldn't occur to EJ that he may want to stay away from Belle for a bit so he doesn't slip and tell her anything.
