Days of our Lives Spoilers, September 12: Brady's determined to get to the bottom of Sophia's lies

What to expect on Days of our Lives

After his talk with Tate (Leo Howard), Brady (Eric Martsolf) is more suspicious of Sophia's (Rachel Boyd) lies than ever. There has to be a reason she was so insistent that Tate didn't touch her baby bump right before she allegedly gave birth.

Brady goes to Steve (Stephen Nichols) with this information, telling him that he's no longer as sure as he once was that the baby found at the firehouse isn't his grandson. They get on the phone with Rafe (Galen Gering) to discuss the matter, so Rafe decides to run a DNA test on Tesoro. Rafe is his legal guardian and can easily get a DNA cheek swab.

Meanwhile, Tate does his best to get more information about the supposed adoptive parents from Sophia. They are in the same class, so Tate thinks he has the perfect opportunity to talk to her and see if she will hedge around the issue of be straight with him. However, Tate is also distracted when he sees how friendly Holly (Ashley Puzemis) is getting with their professor, Johnny (Carson Boatman).

Rachel gets her wish

Brady certainly has a busy day with his kids when he also gets to make Rachel's (Alice Halsey) wish to see her mother come true. Brady takes Rachel to Statesville, which is all the little girl has wanted.

Kristen (Stacy Haiduk) is surprised to see them, as she didn't expect Brady ever to bring Rachel to visit, but the day does not go quite as planned. Rachel is an emotional mess who misses her mother, but she also lets Brady and Kristen talk alone as she listens in.

Do they discuss how Brady's actions led to Kristen being locked up for the next six years? If it wasn't for Brady, Kristen would have only gotten three years, and Rachel would feel a little bit better about things.

If Rachel knew what Brady did, she might not even want to talk to him. But Kristen is determined to stick this out, so the fact that Rachel shot EJ never comes to light.
