Days of our Lives Spoilers, September 16: One Stormy Night becomes a nightmare

Although Stephanie (Abigail Klein) has kept her name out of it, she was pleased with how the One Stormy Night press conference went. She has to deliver another book within weeks, but is up for the challenge — if there is a company left to publish it.

Before the press leaves, Tony (Thaao Penghlis) takes charge and makes an announcement. He is suing the Kiriakis clan for DiMera Enterprises back and taking it one step further. He wants Titan Industries, too. Yes, Tony wants the whole shebang for his family and has the evidence to prove that the Kiriakis brothers were up to something fishy when they took over his father's company and legacy.

Alex (Robert Scott Wilson) tries to put up a fight, but Tony seems to have all his ducks in a row and believes he will win this battle — and war.

Back at the Kiriakis mansion, Victoria's birthday party continues. Xander (Paul Telfer) becomes annoyed by Sarah (Linsey Godfrey), but he has no idea his professional life is currently blowing up in Horton Town Square.

Leo (Greg Rikaart) was at the press conference to cover the event for the Spectator and became quite curious about this turn of events. For some reason, Gabi (Cherie Jimenez) does not seem to be surprised by anything Tony has said.

Since Leo lives with Gabi, he knows she has been up to something and wonders if she might be Tony's spy on the inside. He has seen her cozying up to both Philip and Xander and thinks he knows why.

Leo confronts Gabi with his suspicions, but it's a pretty good bet she will deny everything. Gabi hates Leo and especially hates having to live with him, so a war is likely brewing between these two reluctant housemates.

Will Leo be the one to blow Gabi's cover with Philip (John-Paul Lavoisier) and Xander? They both suspected her last week, but since they like her, they put it out of their minds. What will they do if they learn the truth?
