Days of our Lives Spoilers, September 18: Tate puts his latest plan into motion

Here are your Days of our Lives spoilers for Thursday, September 18, 2025.

What to expect on Days of Our Lives

After his argument with Holly (Ashley Puzemis), Tate (Leo Howard) realized he could use it to his advantage to get Sophia (Rachel Boyd) to finally be honest with him. Sophia now thinks that she has an in with Tate, so Tate takes things one step further. He invites her to his dorm room to watch a movie for film class.

Tate sweet-talks Sophia and even makes a move, which shocks Sophia, but she still doesn't mention that she left their baby at the firehouse, and he is now living with the Hernandez clan.

Meanwhile, Holly (Ashley Puzemis) confides in Ari (Marissa Reyes) about her fight with Tate. She understands he is concerned about his child, but she can't help but feel pangs of jealousy when it comes to Tate and Sophia. Ari encourages Holly to hang on and give Tate a chance, but is later surprised when she sees Sophia coming out of Tate's room.

Ari tells Sophia she won't mention this to Holly, but is she telling the truth? Will she now tell her friend that she should give up on Tate because he's not worth her time?

Can Leo and Javi say goodbye?

Meanwhile, poor Leo (Greg Rikaart) and Javi (Al Calderon) are going to have to face the fact that Tesoro won't be with them forever. They've become attached to the little guy and want to adopt him, but also know that they would never qualify. Javi and Leo discuss their future with Tesoro and whether or not they even have one.

Chanel (Raven Bowens) would also like a future with Tesoro, but she wants that future to be somewhat guaranteed. So, she goes to Paulina (Jackee Harry) and asks if she can pull some strings and get her and Johnny (Carson Boatman) to the top of the prospective parents list.

Chanel feels she was meant to adopt the firehouse baby, but will Paulina go along with this plan? Perhaps she doesn't want to use her position in this way. Even Johnny thought it could be the wrong thing to do.
