It's time for the winners to collect on their dates. Gabi (Cherie Jimenez) wants to know where Alex (Robert Scott Wilson) is taking her on the date she won, and EJ (Daniel Feuerriegel) is ready to show Cat (AnnaLynne McCord) a nice night, which has Chad (Billy Flynn) confused. Why did his brother bid on Cat from the hospital, and why does he want to date her when he seems to be in love with Belle (Martha Madison)?

EJ turns the tables on Chad and wonders if he has feelings for Cat. Could his brother be jealous? As Cat and Chad spend more time together, it becomes more and more apparent that Chad wants to date Cat but just can't seem to admit it.

Kayla becomes an accomplice

Steve (Stephen Nichols) and Shawn (Brandon Beemer) are ready to go with their plan to steal the new experimental drug that can save Bo's (Peter Reckell) life. Steve tells Shawn he wants to bring Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) in on the plan. Surprisingly, she is willing to compromise herself and her job to get this done.

She warns Steve that he must move fast if he wants to get his hands on that drug because Dr. Russell (Michael Dietz) is ready to close up shop at University Hospital.

As for Dr. Russell, he meets with EJ, who looks to be having a busy week. He wants to bankroll Dr. Russell and the the entire hospital. Will that encourage Dr. Russell to stick around, making it easier for Shawn and Steve to commit their crime?

Something strange happens to Sarah

Sarah (Linsey Godfrey) and Xander (Paul Telfer) are enjoying some leisurely time in Horton Town Square with some baked goods when something alarming happens. She tells Xander that something doesn't taste right before suddenly gagging.

Sarah is unable to catch her breath, sending Xander into a panic and begging someone to call 911. Was Sarah poisoned? Is someone new trying to sabotage Chanel's (Raven Bowens) business? Perhaps Sarah will learn she has an underlying health condition causing this incident.
