Days of our Lives star Greg Vaughan shares romantic getaway with Shanna Moakler 

Days of our Lives viewers followed the romantic exploits of Eric Brady for years. Now, fans are catching up on the love life of Eric's portrayer, Greg Vaughan, who recently shared a getaway with actress Shanna Moakler.

In a post from earlier in the year, Moakler referred to the Days of our Lives actor as her "Bud" and herself as his "Sissy." That's a nod to the 1980 film Urban Cowboy, in which on-screen love interests John Travolta and Debra Winger (Terms of Endearment) played, respectively, Bud and Sissy. "Luv ya Sissy," Vaughan responded to Moakler in her post.

Asked how she found the "fine AF" Vaughan by one poster, Moakler responded, "We actually dated 30 years ago."

Who is Shanna Moakler

Moakler became a public figure in the mid-1990s when she won the Miss New York USA pageant in 1995. She became the runner-up when Chelsi Smith became Miss USA 1995. When Smith moved up to Miss Universe, Moakler became Miss USA. In December 2001, she became Playmate of the Month for Playboy magazine.

Moakler and Vaughan appeared in the 1997 film Poison Ivy: The New Seduction. That movie also starred Merete Van Kamp, who played Grace in the famous "dream season" of Dallas.

Moakler's other credits include NCIS, The Goldbergs, The Wedding Singer, Love Stinks, Critical Mass, Pauly Shore is Dead, Seeing Other People, Momma's House, and I Love the New Millennium.

In addition to Days of our Lives, Vaughan has appeared as Diego on The Young and the Restless and as Lucky on General Hospital. He won the Daytime Emmy for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series for his role as Eric in 2018. Vaughan's prime time credits include Charmed, Queen Sugar, Days of our Lives: A Very Salem Christmas, Will & Grace, Second Chances, Pacific Blue, Beverly Hills, 90210, Baywatch, and Love Boat: The Next Wave.
