What to expect on Days of our Lives

It looks like everything old is new again in Salem. After passing out at Johnny's trial, Marlena (Deidre Hall) is right back where she was in the 1990s, having dreams of being the Queen of the Night. We half expect Stefano (the late Joseph Mascolo) to emerge from her wardrobe and usher in the devil again.

Nobody can even truly be sure that Stefano is dead, as there may have been a version of Stefano wearing a Shane (Charles Shaughnessy) mask back in 2017. Rafe (Galen Gering) seems to think it's always a possibility when he tells Cat (AnnaLynne McCord) that Stefano wasn't called The Phoenix for nothing. He always seemed to rise again.

Susan (Stacy Haiduk) can tell that something very strange is going on as she informs her Elvis (Daniel Feuerriegel) that she has been getting strange vibes. Chad (Billy Flynn) is fascinated by Susan's sixth sense. This conversation takes place in the DiMera living room as the portrait of Stefano watches over them all.

Marlena is disturbed by her dreams, but she never wants to think about Stefano being a part of her life again.

Xander's jealousy

Sarah (Linsey Godfrey) is broken up over legally separating from Xander (Paul Telfer), but she had to know this was inevitable. After all, they already had lawyers and were embroiled in a bitter custody battle. The separation is there to end that battle. Maggie (Suzanne Rogers) comforts Sarah, but it looks like Brady (Eric Martsolf) does, as well.

When Xander spots Sarah and Brady embracing in Horton Town Square, he starts seething with jealousy. Gwen (Emily O'Brien) is right there by his side, so will they end up back in her Salem Inn room and make it into bed this time?

Big news for Stephanie?

Steve (Stephen Nichols) appears to use his considerable detective skills and unearths something that could affect Stephanie (Abigail Klein) forever. He alarms Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) when he tells her that he has news about their daughter. Does he now know she is the real author of One Stormy Night?
