Lamon Archey has played Eli on Days of Our Lives off-and-on since 2017. Fans eagerly wait for his various returns to the show, along with Eli’s wife, Lani (Sal Stowers). While there’s plenty of mysteries in Salem for the FBI agent to sink his teeth into, he and Lani are currently living in Washington, D.C., with no plans to move back anytime soon -- which is dissapointing to his grandmother, Julie (Susan Seaforth Hayes). However, fans can still catch a glimpse of Archey on social media, and he recently participated in a funny video.

Time for the truth

On the Days of Our Lives official Instagram page, the show shared a video of Archey with the caption, “Time for Two Truths and a Lie with Lamon Archey! Can you guess which one’s the lie? Drop your guesses below!” In the video, a seated Archey stated, “All right, two truths and a lie. Here we go. First one, I was an emergency veterinarian technician for 10 years.” He continued with, “I have 6 kids, and my favorite Eli story of all time is the wedding…the Lani wedding.” (Find out if Lani and Eli could return to Salem permanently.)

He, of course, was referring to Eli and Lani’s memorable wedding in July 2020, which was interrupted by the conniving Vivian (Louise Sorel). However, they eventually got married and had a couple of kids. Which brings us to the Two Truths and a Lie session with the actor. Many fans had the correct answer as @lislea12 wrote, “I think 6 kids is the lie. :)” And they were absolutely correct, Archey only has three children in real life.

He’s sorely missed

Some of his followers were intrigued by his other answers, as @salemsquaresecrets responded, “The lie is that you have 6 kids😁 I love that you were an Emergency Veterinarian Technician for 10 years💜🐾.” Most of the fans knew that Archey did not have that many children, which shows their devotion to the beloved soap. This was evinced by ardent fan @chad_w_johnson, who commented, “No one should have 6 kids, or at least not me, I can barely take [care] of myself 😭 and I'm trying my hardest to watch @dayspeacock every day 😁.”

Many followers clamored for Archey’s return to the show with @su.nshine202 responding to his post, “Lamon, come back to DAYS. We miss your scenes on there….I say 6 Kids too but u got beautiful kids❤️😍❤️.” One fan with the handle, @clinden192, took a stab at answering the question, but got it wrong, writing, “slovatic88 “I think the lie is the emergency vet tech.”

But the actor is still greatly missed on the show, and @slovatic88 pleaded, “@lamonarchey OA please come back to Days Of Our Lives, we miss you.”
