Brady Black’s got his hands full on Days of our Lives. From dealing with Tate’s baby mess to a possible romantic hookup with Sarah, he’s involved in some compelling and entertaining storylines. While the drama in Salem rages on, Eric Martsolf took a breather to look back. Recently, the longtime star reflected on one of the wildest and most heartfelt decades of his run — and fans poured in like it was 2008 all over again. The fun and the madness View this post on Instagram Instagram PostDays of Our Lives posted a video of Martsolf on its Instagram page, with the caption, “Eric Martsolf looks back on the 2005–2015 era of Days of our Lives. A decade of twists, turns, and stories fans will never forget. 💙”In the video, Martsolf laughed as he remembered how, “DAYS was an interesting dichotomy of fun yet seriousness,” and that even with the weight of legacy characters and storylines, “we had a lot of fun people in the cast with these huge, bigger-than-life personalities.” He also recalled one particularly wild chapter — “There was a moment when Brady actually buried Vivian Alamain alive for an entire summer, and it just always sticks in my head because I couldn’t believe we were doing this.” Then, with his trademark grin, he added, “I had so many questions, like how is she going to go to the bathroom? How's she gonna eat? Don’t worry about it, she’s in the sarcophagus for three months — and you’re gonna love it.”As the laughter faded, he reflected on the show’s deeper pull. “[Days of our Lives] has always been kind of a way to show society through a microscope,” Martsolf said. “I still have people coming up to me saying they learned something about how to deal with their own relationships or addiction through the show. We have crazy storylines, but at the end of the day, all the characters have a humanity that viewers can relate to. I think that’s important.”Fans react: love, laughter, and legacyDays of our Lives' Rachel, Xander, and Brady. | Image Source: JPIThe comments filled up quickly. @jmac71172 wrote, “Love you, Eric!!!!
