May 23, 2025, marks 40 years since Days of our Lives supercouple Bo and Hope Brady wed for the first time in a spectacular London ceremony. The soap is set to celebrate the milestone day in a big way — with Bo and Hope on screen.
A race to save Bo Brady

In the current story, Bo (Peter Reckell) is still lingering in a coma two years after his son, Shawn (Brandon Beemer), shot him, thinking he was protecting Hope (Kristian Alfonso) from a brainwashed Bo. What he didn't know was that Hope had just broken Megan DiMera's (Miranda Wilson) programming right before he pulled the trigger.
Now, Bo has developed sepsis from a ventilator infection and is dying. As Steve (Stephne Nichols), Kayla, and Shawn (Brandon Beemer) race against time to save Bo's life by getting their hands on a miracle cure, Hope remains by Bo's side, willing him to live. That's when she will remember their special love story and that extra-special wedding day, according to Swoon.
Days of our Lives wedding memories

In 1985, Days of our Lives traveled to England for an adventurous and romantic location shoot in which Kimberly Brady (Patsy Pease) and Shane Donovan (Charles Shaughnessy) fell in love, and Hope Williams and Bo Brady celebrated their love.
The foursome defeated a serial killer known as The Dragon, who was killing members of the royal family. When Bo, Hope, Shane, and Kim captured The Dragon and brought him down, a fictional version of Queen Elizabeth II rewarded Bo and Hope by throwing them their own version of a royal wedding.
However, the day did not go off without a hitch. Bo was delayed getting to the church, so he stole a milk truck and was arrested before he finally made it to his beautiful bride.
Bo and Hope were married and divorced multiple times over the next few decades, with them both also being presumed dead here and there through the years. They have not had true scenes together since Bo allegedly died in Hope's arms from a brain tumor nearly 10 years ago.
Will Hope's wedding anniversary reminiscing bring Bo back to her once and for all? The two are finally slated to get their happily-ever-after with this latest return, so here's hoping Bo and Hope can celebrate their love again soon.
