Days of our Lives has confirmed that actor Billy Flynn has been cast as the show's "new amd improved" Chad DiMera.
"We are excited to have Billy Flynn joining our DAYS family this Fall," DAYS co-executive producer Greg Meng said in a statement. "Chad's return will change the dynamic of Salem society in ways that fans won't want to miss!"
Flynn, who will be making his daytime debut on DAYS, first popped up on fans' radar when his name was spotted on a script earlier this year. Flynn has appeared in two short films and has had a guest spot on Hawaii Five-0.
The role of Chad DiMera was originated by Casey Deidrick in June 2009. The actor exited in 2013 to pursue opportunities outside of daytime.
Flynn will make his first appearance in Salem on September 12.
