Days of our Lives' Martha Madison returned as Belle Black this week, but her first days back in Salem weren't as joyful as she would have hoped.
The actress took to social media to share the secret that one week before she began taping scenes for the NBC soap, she was in a painful bicycle accident that left her with a broken arm.
"Fun fact about these shows I'm in on @nbcdays: I broke my left elbow abt a week b4 shooting," she reveals. "Removed the cast to shoot. #Ouch #commitment"

Anyone who watched Belle's returning scenes would have to agree filming was likely torturous: the character spent the time helping her daughter, Claire (Olivia Rose Keegan), move into a new apartment!
