She's baaaaack: Louise Sorel returns to DAYS as iconic character Vivian Alamain

The cat is out of the bag: Days of our Lives is bringing back popular actress Louise Sorel in the role of villainess Vivian Alamain.

In exciting news officially confirmed by Days of our Lives, Louise Sorel is bringing back her ultra loved villainess character, Vivian Alamain.

Fans are certainly ready for the fun surprise, but it turns out the show wasn't equally ready for the cat to be slipped out of the bag.

Former One Life to Live actress Robin Strasser (ex-Dorian Lord) is responsible for having dropped the stunner a bit early by tweeting, "Louise Sorel as if you didn't know is reprising her iconic role on #DaysOfOurLives #Corday knows what makes our day(s) doesn't he?"

Soon after, Strasser realized her mistake and posted a follow-up tweet that read: "UH OH-is it supposed to be a SECRET #Vivian will SHOW #DOOL? I didn't know-a SECRET? Oh crap SHOUT IT-La GREAT ONE returns-BEST NEWS ever!"

The last time Vivian reigned supreme was back in 2009 to 2011, when she delightfully watched Carly (Crystal Chappell) slip into deep drug addiction before running off to become a Bollywood star with her rich movie director friend/henchman, Ivan.

Now that former OLTL and GH writer Ron Carlivati is helming the show, there's no doubt Vivian will be back to her old tricks and then some. The soap scribe loves to write powerful female villains, so the pair is a soap dream come true.

What do you think about DAYS bringing back Sorel in the role of Vivian? What kind of havoc do you hope the villainess will wreak when she's back in Salem?
