Days of our Lives is bringing back Brandon Beemer (Shawn Brady) and Martha Madison (Belle Black) for special episodes honoring the late Peggy McKay (Caroline Brady).

Salem fans can look forward to a blast from the past with the upcoming returns of Brandon Beemer (Shawn Brady) and Martha Madison (Belle Black). The popular pair is heading back to Days of our Lives.

The parents of Claire Brady (Olivia Rose Keegan) are set to hit the screen on Wednesday, June 19, for the special tribute episodes the show is dedicating to Peggy McKay (Caroline Brady), who passed away in late 2018.

Beemer took to Twitter to remind fans of his upcoming appearance, writing: "It's always great to be back in Salem for a bit! Make sure to watch please."

As Soap Central previously reported, several other DAYS stars are reportedly returning to Salem for the storyline honoring McKay. Christie Clark (Carrie Brady) -- who currently lives in Europe -- was photographed back on set at DAYS around the time McKay's tribute episodes were being taped, as were Patrick Muldoon (Austin Reed) and Alison Sweeney (Sami Brady).

McKay landed the role of Days of our Lives' Caroline Brady in 1983 and signed a long-term contract with the NBC series in 1985. She played the character of Caroline on a regular basis for over 30 years, earning five Daytime Emmy nominations for her work. Her final appearance as Caroline aired on August 24, 2016.
