Social media frequently comes under fire for helping spread negativity, but the beast that rules our daily lives can sometimes be a blessing. Case in point: some fun Twitter banter between Days of our Lives head writer Ron Carlivati and Another World alum Jackée Harry (ex-Lily Mason) could lead to the latter ending up in Salem.
The exciting exchange began when Harry -- famous for her roles as Lisa Landry on Sister, Sister and Sandra Clark on 227 -- joked during the 62nd Annual Grammy Awards that blues singer Bonnie Raitt and longtime DAYS star Suzanne Rogers (Maggie Horton) look eerily similar.
"Has Bonnie Raitt been moonlighting as Maggie from Days of our Lives for the past 20 years?" Harry tweeted.
Carlivati quickly got wind of the joke and replied, "No, Bonnie is obviously Maggie's evil twin. The real question is, when is Sandra Clark going to come visit Salem?"
Harry played along and said she would LOVE to play with the DAYS cast, prompting Carlivati to promise that he would have his people call her people.
Though Carlivati and Harry's exchange was all in jest, many fans have already jumped on board in support of the possibility of the actress coming to the NBC drama series. After all, she already has soap opera experience, having played Another World's Lily from 1983 to 1985, and she comes with a big built-in audience of fans who love her from shows like Everybody Hates Chris, The First Family, and The Paynes.
Meanwhile, Harry's tweet may end up having the power to not only secure a position for herself at DAYS but also to pave the way for Bonnie Raitt to come to Salem, as well. Evil twins are a soap opera staple, and sweet little Maggie is due a sinister sister after all these years without a sibling. Right?!
