A decade later, the Florida native took the stage opposite Rae Dawn Chong in Lisa Phillips Visca's original play Climax at the Santa Monica Playhouse. His film credits include Disney's popular snowboarding movie Cloud 9, MTV's Teen Wolf, and the third installment of the God's Not Dead series. His TV credits include Hawaii Five-0, Major Crimes, Crash & Bernstein, Operation Cupcake, and The Haves and the Have Nots.

Manning is also an accomplished producer with credits like the Showtime documentary Kidnapped for Christ, which he produced alongside Lance Bass and Tom DeSanto. He has also been involved behind the camera on many films, including Jinn, The Death and Life of Marsha P. Johnson, Folk Hero and Funny Guy, and Lost in America.
