Find out when Farah Fath returns as Days of our Lives' Mimi Lockhart and how the blast-from-the-past character will impact current Salem shenanigans.

If you've been patiently waiting for the return of Days of our Lives' Mimi Lockhart, portrayer Farah Fath says Mimi's on-screen return is just around the corner.

News of the actress' return to the canvas broke a whopping 133 days ago, and fans have been eagerly awaiting the arrival of Mimi since then. And lucky for impatient fans, Fath has finally revealed when her popular alter ego will be back in Salem: Friday, October 5.

Mimi was originally part of DAYS' teen scene and played quite a large part in storyline from 1999 to 2007 along with fan-favorite characters like Shawn-Douglas Brady (Jason Cook/Brandon Beemer), Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin), and Belle Black (Martha Madison).

Mimi's upcoming return to Salem is reportedly connected to the "Baby Bonnie" storyline currently playing out on-screen. As viewers know, the baby is apparently the result of a drunken night between Lucas (Bryan Dattilo) and Mimi's mom, Bonnie Lockhart (Judi Evans). Just how Mimi fits in is yet to be revealed, but her return will reportedly bring some startling new developments to the one-night stand baby shocker.

After leaving DAYS, Fath took on the role of One Life to Live's Gigi Morasco, which she played until the soap's cancellation in 2012. Another notable credit is the TV movie Murder, She Baked: A Plum Pudding Mystery opposite DAYS' Alison Sweeney (Sami Brady), All My Children's Cameron Mathison (ex-Ryan Lavery), and OLTL's Barbara Niven (ex-Liz Coleman).

How much are you looking forward to Mimi's return to DAYS? What do you think brings the character back to the canvas? We want to hear from you -- and there are many ways you can share your thoughts.
