Days of our Lives' Chad DiMera and Abigail Deveraux haven't been seen in Salem since the couple wed and took off to Europe last February, but fans have been able to keep up to date on what's been happening in their lives via the soap opera's online companion series Chad and Abby in Paris. However, the limited series is about to come to an end, and the popular pair will return to Salem when it wraps.
In a recent interview with TV Insider, DAYS' co-executive producer Greg Meng reveals that the final installment of the digital series is due to drop in November, and Chad and Abigail -- portrayed by Billy Flynn and Kate Mansi, respectively -- will return to the broadcast show starting Monday, November 11.
"Chad and Abby are a beloved couple who are off the canvas. Where are they? They're in Paris. Let's create a story for them," Meng says of the thoughts that were behind the creation of the Chabby digital series. "We're seeing into their lives, and that will align with what we see when they come back onto the show [next month]. At the end of the second chapter, they'll be back on the air show on NBC the following week."
News of Flynn and Mansi's return to DAYS broke during the Daytime Emmy Awards this past June, with news of their alter egos' Parisian digital series breaking in July. At this time, it's unclear how long Flynn and Mansi will be back in Salem.
Flynn took on the role of Chad DiMera in 2014, while Mansi played the role of Abigail from 2011 to 2016 and again from 2018 to 2019 (with Emmy-nominated actress Marci Miller playing the character from 2016 to 2018).
