It's only a matter of time before 227 and Sister, Sister alum JackÚe Harry makes her Days of our Lives debut, and, in addition to being ultra "fabulous" (as the actress previously teased), it's going to be ultra dramatic, too. DAYS' head writer, Ron Carlivati, previews that Harry's character, Paulina, will be introduced to the canvas via the upcoming kidnapping of Eli (Lamon Archey) and Lani's (Sal Stowers) newborn twins!
"Knowing that we were planning to have this crisis with Lani and Eli's babies being kidnapped, the focus would be on their family and that's when I started to think, 'Well, maybe this might be a good moment to bring JackÚe into it and maybe she has some connection to the family,'" Carlivati shared with Soap Opera Digest.
Harry had already revealed that Paulina has a daughter and is related to the Carver clan, but the kidnapping angle brings a whole new element of complication to the character's introduction -- especially because it may not be clear at first how Paulina is involved in the baby snatching.
"She comes to town in connection to what happens to those babies," Carlivati teases, "But we learn a little about her background and her connection to everybody, and she immediately sort of has thoughts and plans about doing business in Salem, I'll just say that."
DAYS has yet to announce when Harry will be making her debut, but when Soap Central spoke with Lamon Archey (Eli) just before Christmas, he revealed that the actress hadn't reported for her first day of work yet.
"JackÚe, she hasn't started filming yet, but I am super excited about her arrival," he enthused. "I expect it to be a lot of fun!"
