4) The Ruins (2008)

This film is about a group of friends who decided to take a trip to Mexico and do the one thing they aren't supposed to do, follow a stranger to the ruins. Big Mistake. They ignore every warning and instinct and head to a cursed temple to touch some dangerously carnivorous plants. The worst part is the vines don't like to eat people, they simple get under the skin. 5) Rogue (2007)

Rogue deserves a special mention on this list of horror flicks. It's simply Jaws and Lake Placid on steroids. A group of tourists go to Australia thinking it's all Koalas and Kangaroos, but they are in for a surprise when they encounter a giagantic crocodile with an apetite for toursists. 6) Black Sheep (2006)

In this comedy horror film, Henry, a man with sheep phobia, goes back home after 15 years to sell his share of the family home only to realize that his brother Angus has turned innocent sheep into man-eating woolly spawns of Dracula.
7) The Bay (2012)

The Bay was directed by Barry Levinson, the who directed Rain Man. In this found footage movie 4th of July celebrations fo awry when mutant water parasites decide have their own celebration inside humans by wreaking havoc in their organs.
People start meltings, fishes start glitching, and there is no way of asking for help because the phones aren't working. All this happens because some humans think it's a great idea to dump toxic waste like flowers all over the city.
8) Anaconda (1997)

Anaconda is one of the most loved nature-gone-wrong horror flicks of all time. It features a film crew who think filming in the depths of the Amazon forest is great idea. Their adventures turns into a nightmare when things start to look like an episode of Survivor.

10) The Happening (2008)

The Happening takes a different approach that the rest of the horror flicks on this list. It practised consent even before it was a thing. Instead of killing people without their permission, the toxins in the air motivate them successfully to off themselves. Mark Wahlberg plays a science teacher who tries to figure out a to save himself and Zooey Deschanel from these mind-controlling toxins.
