On March 31, 1993, Brandon Lee, the son of martial arts legend Bruce Lee, died in tragic circumstances on the set of The Crow. In filming a scene where his character was intended to be shot, a handgun used in the production discharged a fragment of a real bullet that struck him in the abdomen. Despite the efforts made for his life, Lee breathed his last that day at the age of 28, with what could have been a promising career cruelly cut short.
