This actor got her big break from the series Lost. Evangeline Lilly never had a formal education in acting as her interest in humanitarian causes led her to major in International Relations at the University of British Columbia. She worked as a flight attendant for Royal Airlines to pay her tuition fees. Her acting career started when she was discovered by an agent from the Ford Modelling Agency. Lilly, although reluctantly, got in touch with the agent and landed several roles in commercials.
