Loki’s death in Avengers: Infinity War was one of the most shocking scenes in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Thanos strangled him to death in front of Thor after Loki attempted to outsmart the Mad Titan. Loki offered the Tesseract in exchange for Thor’s life, but tried to stab Thanos in a final act of defiance.
