1) The Sixth Sense (1999)

The Sixth Sense, M. Night Shyamalan's thriller movie, came in the year 1999. It has one of the most unforgettable, yet painful plot twists that is spoken about to this day. Cole Sear, the main protagonist, played by a young Haley Joel Osment, can communicate with spirits, but the twist is the fact that his psychologist Malcolm Crowe, a character played by Bruce Willis, is one of those spirits. This twist is one monumental therapeutic exploration into grief, trauma, and an imaginative deepdive into what could be the other side of life.
