The 94th Academy Awards has been one of the most scandalous events in recent years. When Chris Rock, while presenting an award, made a joke about Will Smith’s wife, Jada Pinkett, Will walked on stage and slapped Rock. He also warned Chris to not take his wife’s name. This whole altercation was unscripted. Will Smith faced a major backlash for his behavior. Though Will apologized for his behavior, he got banned from attending the events for the next 10 years.
