With its minute detailing, this TV show provides the much-needed regal binge over winter evenings. While narrating the story of the reign of Queen Elizabeth II, the last season carries on further into emotional times after the tragic death of Princess Diana and the significant impact she made on this monarchy.
It then tries to show how Charles progresses into leadership and what changes a modernizing Royal Family has to go through. Imelda Staunton does a great job acting out the Queen, thus fittingly ending this spectacular TV show.
