Corey Haim was a teen heartthrob in the 1980s, having starred in films such as The Lost Boys (1987) and Lucas (1986). His early promise was derailed by personal issues, including drug addiction. Haim's death at 38 due to pneumonia complicated by his earlier drug use was an especially tragic end to what seemed so full of promise when it started. Although his later years were filled with attempts at a comeback, it is still his youthful roles on which Haim's legacy is built, and even his death serves as a reminder of the pressures associated with fame.
