Faye Dunaway has a reputation for allegedly being a tough person to work with. A notable example would be when she became embroiled in a controversy with Bette Davis during the filming of the television movie The Disappearance of Aimee back in the 1970s. Davis accused the actress of being unprofessional and arriving late on set and falling behind in learning her lines, thus causing delays and frustrations among the entire crew. In 2019, she was fired from a Broadway show for allegedly slapping a crew member.
