Directed by Quentin Tarantino, Django Unchained is another movie released on Christmas which managed to perform quite well. It is about a newly freed slave and his plan to save his wife from the clutches of a wealthy plantation owner. The movie sheds light on the dehumanising slavery practices in America before the Civil War as well as the negative motivation caused by revenge. This movie was theatrically released across the United States on December 25, 2012.
