Directed by Joey Klein, Castle On The Ground has a thought-provoking portrayal of how drug abuse can be a means of escape during times of sadness. The movie tells the story of Henry, who is suffering after losing his mother to cancer. Henry resorts to drug abuse with the thought of escaping his emptiness. However, he quickly falls prey to the clasps of opioid addiction. As Henry becomes drawn more and more to the world of addiction he witnesses desperation, violence, and self-destruction.
