With an overuse of humor, a chaotic plot, a lack of emotional depth, and Christian Bale’s surprisingly limited on-screen presence, Thor: Love and Thunder (2022) fell far short of what the fans had expected. However, the film was a box-office hit and grossed $760 million globally.
