Book of Shadows: Blair Witch 2 (2000), a sequel to the original—The Blair Witch Project (1999), broke away from the franchise's signature found-footage style, choosing a more conventional narrative approach. The characters, plot, and cinematography seemed to highly disappoint the audience, as they did not find it as horrifying as its predecessor. The haunting eeriness is gone, instead, this one is just a wild, unpredictable ride.
