9) Making fun of Neville

Draco's behavior towards Neville in the first movie, when he found Neville's Remebrall and threw it to make things difficult for Neville, showed his harsh nature. It was one of the early signs of his villainous side, which later worsens with each movie. As Neville is shy he becomes an easy target for Draco to pick on and he tends to pick on those he perceives to be weaker than himself. Draco trying to humiliate Neville publicly amplifies the impact of cruelty that he harbors within himself.
