The Wizard of Oz was celebrating its 80th anniversary in 2019, and when it re-released on the big screen with restored 4K visuals, it dazzled everyone. Judy Garland's immortal performance and the magical technicolor scenes of the movie, like the one where Dorothy arrives in Oz, looked fabulous. Special features were mostly shown during the screenings, which included interviews with historians speaking on how the movie was made so innovatively at the time with limited technology. This re-release once more endorsed the movie as one of cinema history's most loved classics, engrossing both children and adults.
