Chloë Grace Moretz was originally the voice of the little girl named Penny who owns Bolt in Disney's 2008 animated film Bolt. At the age of 11, she completely voiced all the lines of the character. However, Disney decided to recast the role for Miley Cyrus, likely in hopes of using the momentum of fame from Hannah Montana. Despite her replacement, Moretz's voice was still used for the younger version of Penny, and she is credited with that role. It didn't affect Moretz's career as she soon obtained larger roles in films like Kick-Ass (2010).
