This was one of the most notorious exits from a TV series. Hubert played Aunt Viv, and the actress was reportedly fired by producers after several conflicts with the main star, Will Smith. The reason for the controversy was not only her difficult behavior during the shooting but also her salary issues. She was replaced quite suddenly by Daphne Maxwell Reid.
