Charlie Sheen's removal from the hit TV comedy Two and a Half Men was dramatic. All his antics over two-plus years had become wildly irrational: a famous appearance he gave on the Howard Stern Show calling his boss ' Chuck Lorre' a charlatan. Instead of sacking him on-screen, they brought Ashton Kutcher to play Walden Schmidt. Sheen responded, and went on a highly orchestrated, self-promoted anti-hiring tour telling about his winning attitude. The fallout hurt his career, but eventually he rebounded with his role in Anger Management.
