5) Colin Firth - Paddington (2014)

Colin Firth was originally cast to be the voice of the well-loved bear, Paddington, in the 2014 film Paddington. Producers had already taped Firth's lines when they decided that his mature tone was not quite fitting for the character, whose youthful innocence they wanted to convey. Ben Whishaw, therefore, took over the voice of Paddington. Although recasting was disappointing for Firth, later on, he spoke of it in positive terms saying it was the right choice for the film's tone as a whole. His career continued to soar through great performances in Kingsman: The Secret Service (2014) and The King's Speech (2010).
